Winding Down

Well… Sarah’s time here is winding down.  The kids have been so blessed by her presence here and I know that they will miss her much.  So we have one week to squeeze in all of the things that we have been planning on doing… where did that time go?

Anyways… We are getting ready to have our own little Thanksgiving celebration.  It will be nice to have a celebration before Sarah leaves.  I know this is a bit corny, but I had the kids make those traced pictures with their hands that you color to look like a turkey.  They came out pretty cute too!  I’ll have to give you a picture of it when I get the chance.

Please pray for the country of Nepal.  There have been a lot of bondas recently.  The kids were out of school on Thursday and Friday.  They went back to school today, but we were very hindered in getting around as the strikes continued.  Walking down the street today around all of the rucus I watched as a mother walking by picked up her baby and looked on.  I wonder what that child will learn about how to get his way in life.  A very unsettling thought to say the least.  The next generation is looking to its elders in how to manage a country, while some things are changing for the good, others are not changing at all.

Praying with you,

Eva
